PDF PAGE 5, COLUMN 1 BURNS’ EVIDENCE WILL BE A PART OF MOTION Sleuth Discoveries Will Be Basis of Supplementary Grounds for Retrial. The new evidence which Detective William J. Burns is reported to have discovered in New York and other northern points will be the basis of supplementary grounds to be submitted to Solicitor Hugh N. Dorsey within a day or so in the notice which he has been given of the forthcoming retrial motion. Burns will return to Atlanta Wednesday morning. He was expected on Southern train No. 37 Tuesday night, but did not arrive. Attorneys for the defense look for him on Southern vestibule No. 43, arriving this morning at 5 o’clock. It is said that he will bring Guy B. Biddinger, the criminal expert of the Burns Service, with him. Frank’s attorneys still refuse to talk of the mysterious phase of the Frank case on which Burns has been working in New York and the older Northern cities. They say it will be made public, however, as soon as it is submitted to Solicitor Dorsey in the retrial motion notification. Leonard Haas, a member of the convicted man’s counsel, stated yesterday that Burns had been successful in his investigation in New York, and that he was bringi
